Economics and Business Programs

Our economics and business students have worked with mentors from MIT, University of Pennsylvania, King’s College London and more . Through the mentorship programs, our economics and business students have gained admissions into selective schools, published their research work and received recommendation letters from their mentors.

Nirav Subramanian

Residence: Utah, US
School: Walton High School
Intended major: Business
Age during program: Grade 11

He has taken both AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, earning a score of 5 in each, and has won multiple awards in prestigious economics competitions, including the National Economics Challenge hosted at the Atlanta Federal Reserve. In addition to his economics knowledge, he has also completed AP Statistics and AP Calculus BC, which will support him in the research process.

Through the mentorship program, he has produced an empirical finance research paper and received recommendation letters from his mentor.

His university acceptance includes University of Chicago.

School: American Preparatory Academy
Intended major: Business
Age during program: Grade 11

Cole has gained valuable experience as an operations specialist during his internship with a private equity firm. He has completed Wharton’s course on global business trends and contributed articles to the Wall Street Journal on diversity in the financial sector. Currently, he is authoring a book on business leadership.

Through the mentorship program, he has learnt to build skills essential for tackling college-level material.

His university acceptance includes MIT.

Intended major: Mathematics/Physics
Age during program: Grade 11

Andy is interested to major in either Mathematics or Physics, and he has decided to work on a business related mentorship program to integrate the Mathematics aspects. He has some experiences in Python and has an excellent GPA score of 3.9/4.0.

Through the program, he completed an excellent research paper and received a few recommendation letters from his mentor.

His university acceptance includes New York University.
