Felicia Qin is a 12th grade student from Shanghai Foreign Language School. She is interested to major in Social Sciences.
Prior to the start of the mentorship program, Felicia already has a clear goal and research question in mind. She is extremely interested in technology and science. She enjoys examining society and the relationships between individuals, groups, and institutions.

What challenges did she face?
- She had difficulty accessing specific research and readings that the mentor had suggested. These were frustrations but she overcame the problems in general and did not let them stop her.
- She had to read academic papers from different subjects such as Science Technology Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, History, and Organizational Management.
