Nirav Subramanian
He is an 11th grade student from Walton High School. He would like to work on a mentorship focused on stock analysis.


Nirav has taken both AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, earning a score of 5 in each, and has won multiple awards in prestigious economics competitions, including the National Economics Challenge hosted at the Atlanta Federal Reserve. In addition to his economics knowledge, he has also completed AP Statistics and AP Calculus BC, which will support him in the research process.

  • To produce a research paper while simultaneously developing a comprehensive understanding of the theories and methodologies in finance, economics, and econometrics/statistics that are essential for conducting the research.

  • Cole faced challenges with academic research, including finding, reading, summarizing, and writing about it. This was a significant shift from other types of reading and analysis he had done before.

  • Nirav mastered advanced data analysis and programming in Excel, which are beyond typical high school level.
  • The complex analytical methods he implemented required significant effort and learning.
