Kabir has already worked 3 part time jobs including analytics, risk assessment and finance work for a company called Innova Investments. He also writes Finance-related articles for his local newspaper: “The Finance Memo.”

What challenges did he face?

  • Kabir was overly ambitious on this research project and needed to brainstorm with the mentor to narrow down to the concepts worth researching


Matched professor:

A finance associate professor with Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and also an Associate Dean with California State University, Dominguez Hills in the College of Business and Public Policy. Previously he served as a consultant to the World Bank, UNDP and the Asian Development Bank.


How did our program help him?

  • Kabir learnt about the research processes which will be of value when he enter university. For the first time, he experienced writing a formal academic research paper.
  • He managed to deep-dive into the topic of block chain and wrote a 9,000-word essay
