Ria is interested to pursue business studies and has passion in the fashion industry. Putting her interests together, she worked hard on a research paper with her mentor.

What challenges did she face?

  • Ria had some difficulties trying to read and research information from high-level academic journal articles for her research work.


Matched professor:

A finance associate professor with Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and also an Associate Dean with California State University, Dominguez Hills in the College of Business and Public Policy. Previously he served as a consultant to the World Bank, UNDP and the Asian Development Bank.


How did our program help her?

  • With the help of the mentor, Ria wrote her first research paper.
  • The mentor also provided guidance in structuring the research paper and helped to improve her academic writing skills.
