Filmmaking Research Project

Filmmaking Research Project

Program Learning Objective

The filmmaking research project equips students with essential skills in film analysis, storytelling, and technical production. Students will explore the process of developing and pitching film concepts, honing screenwriting skills, and analyzing visual elements such as cinematography, editing, and sound design. Projects may focus on creating short films, documentaries, or experimental works, or delve into studying influential filmmakers and genres. By the end of the program, students will complete a refined short film or an in-depth research paper that showcases their understanding of filmmaking principles.
